Does Starbucks Giftcards really sale for that many credits i'm only asking because i've been buying walmart/eBay/Amazon and they bring that many credits
If you were to buy credits on this site at this very moment, you would get 97,500 for $5.00. So actually, my starting bid is below the current exchange rate for credits. Please do a search for Starbucks gift cards and you will see the typical average. :-)
Super short answer: Yes, people do pay that many credits for Starbucks gift cards.
Longer answer: I would say that Starbucks giftcards sell for however many credits people are willing to pay. But I wouldn't use what the exchange rate is to figure out if it is worth it to you. What really matters is not what people put them up for sale as but for what they end up selling for. I can ask for 2000000 credits, but that doesn't mean I will get it or if it's a good deal.
When I want to see how much something goes for, I put myself on a watchlist for something similar (or the same). At the end of the auction, Listia will send you an email saying what it went for.
People REALLY like Starbucks, so they tend to go for a lot. A $25 SB gift card went a couple of weeks ago for a bit over 400,000. A couple of $10 SB gift cards each went for 250,000 a week before that.
Thank you for that indepth answer. I can say that I would use this for myself in a heartbeat but I would rather get credits built up at the moment. Coffee is my vice with no end in sight. I find a $5 Starbucks voucher a valuable thing and I would dole out credits o'plenty to get one from here.
