There are 19 pages of text and photos of how to do the old fashioned craft of Rug Braiding. Also sometimes called Rag Rugs... you can utilize scraps of coordinating material to make beautiful and useful 'artwork' for your home.
I've posted a sample but there are many shapes you can make - ovals, hearts, even baskets!
I will email the winner scanned copies of what I have collected over the years.

It's beautiful. It would be nice to know how to do this. Unfortunately I don't have time for the hobbies I used to enjoy. I have to work from morning until night just to scrape by. Great auction though!
