these are a cousin of the petunia that are native to chile.

they have branching 12-24in. stems with 2in. trumpet shaped striped flowers that come in a multitude of vibrant, velvet like, almost mettalic, colors. they are truly stunning!!!!!!

annual- blooms late spring to early fall.

full to partial sun.

requires rich, well drained soil.

growing these from seed takes extra care, do not sow directly in the ground. start indoors (while keeping them warm) about 2-3 weeks before last frost.seeds sprout in 7-10 days.

i suppose you could try but i believe they would be more suited for the pot or border as they get about a foot or 2 tall...thanx!
