Description

The listing, Polka Dot Plant Seeds has ended.

Hypoestes, also known as the Polka Dot Plant or the Freckled Face plant, is a beautiful ground cover. I have pink and green & white and green plants. They are great house plants and if grown inside will flourish all year round. Pinch the tips for a bushier plant. The flowers are insignificant but pretty.
I'm offering 6 seeds from your color choice. The last picture is from the seeds I started in spring, the rest are pictures of the plants I bought last year. I got the picture of seeds off Google just to show.

The flowers are insignificant, they recommend removing them as they take away from the actual plant. The seeds form when you leave the flowers on and they dry out.

I honestly don't know, I didn't time it. I didn't even notice the first time they flowered.

Do you have a pic of the seedlings that you grew from seed?

No they are still on the plant and it's raining so I can't go out and harvest any. My seeds come straight off the plant most of the time

OK so then how do you know if the seeds are viable?

The same way as any other plant, seed pod dries up, turns brown. I have been gardening for years, you learn things. I research. No one has ever came back saying any of my seeds were not viable.
