This 6 Prong ring is absolutely gorgeous! I had purchased it, very dull and with a broken 2 carat garnet in it. I bought a multi faceted 3 carat garnet and took it to the jewelers. That informed me this was a really nice piece. It did not have a stamp in it as 10k, 14k, 18k etc. So he said they can make the prongs longer to hold the bigger stone, and stamp it for me for an extra 120 on top of what I had already paid for the ring and another stone. They tested it at 14k for me, stamped it, replaced the stone and steamed and polished it for me. This is a beauty and it is vintage from the Victorian Antique era he said of 1800's. Exact date is not known, but now it is also costumed since it has been worked on. Size 6.5
