CD key is not in use Should activate with no problems has not been in us for about 3 yrs. Cd itself is in excellent condition barely any marks at all will include windows 98 second edition for free to make for ease of installation if credits exceed 7250 will ship for free if credits exceed 8500. If winner needs help with format will also give a 1 time tech support walk through of how to format from scratch using a previous version windows cd, either by phone or via internat.

not true...you can give these to others if you are not gonna use them any longer...you own it...it is yours so as long as you are using the original key then it is ok to give it away

the Microsoft licenses that apply to both these disks are only applicable for the original purchaser of the disk and is only intended to be provided along with a manufactured PC system, Use by anyone other than the original owner (or OEM or owner approved 3rd party technician in the event of needed PC repair) of the system is in violation of the license and constitutes license infringement, which is punishable by law. In other words, it is illegal to give away or re-sell this disk to anyone and use by anyone other than the original owner is illegal, as the license is non transferable.

this would be a truthful statement and would apply according to vista having a newly defined eula if in fact this was a OEM edition but the disk is not OEM it is retail and in accordance to the eula this product is transferable.

and as for the windows 98 second edition it is a free disk you can request directly from microsoft anyone can get 1 for free plus i am not offering a cd key with it
