If you ask for a tracking # the postoffice does it free so it doesnt cost extra & a reciept confirmation is .80 cents it comes w/ a tracking # automatically.

Tracking is .80 dents , but using tracking puts it in a different class of shipping, for me to ship anywhere , it generally costs me 3.00 with tracking. That is I send jewelry, nothing heavy. I use a small padded envelope. So No it is never free lol
