I would say probably somewhere in between. I would categorize it as Very Good Used Condition if that helps.

Yes, it will hold a charge, but I'm unsure of exactly how old it is. Not too old I imagine, as my nephew is accustomed to getting the newest gaming devices, so he recycles them fairly quickly.
