It does actually....the only reason I couldn't use it is because my dog is very large and his nails almost wouldn't fit into the chamber but would be great for a smaller animal. Thank you!

remove the lid the item works better without it. i do 9 chihuahuas nails with it. with the cap the nail get caught. without it it is so much easier and alot faster to
