This volume of the Childcraft library is decigned to help you meet the challenge of parenting. It is divided into four sections: Growth and Development, For Special Consideration, A Medical Guide, and Learning with Childcraft. The special consideration section offers tips and advice on how to deal with subjects that may affect you and your child at any stage in your child's life, such as moving, the working mother, divorce in the family, special needs and physical handicaps, drug addiction and more. Obviously no one person is qualified to give expert advice on all of the subjects presented in this volume. The editors sought the assistance of more than 40 physicians, psychiatrists, educators, and dentists. The result of their work is a body of information that will give you a good insight into your child's behavior, and confidence in your abilities to guide your child through the crucial years leading to adulthood.

This hardcover book is in acceptable condition with some wear and scratches on the covers. The pages inside are intact and in good condition.

Some of my items are listed for friends or come from estate sales so I cannot always guarantee smoke/pet free - all items are washed/cleaned before packing but you may want to wash again before use, especially if you have allergies
