forgot to ask, are these more of a heavy weight, or the lighter weight? sometimes looks can be deceiving! :) these look nice and heavy, though.

Is this made in China or USA? I know the newer Oneida sets seem to be made in China and the older ones in USA. I'm just curious. Thanks. :)

I have already boxed for shipment but it was only purchased 1 year ago and I did not look at the box to see where it was made.

Ok. I live in Oneida. That's why I was curious. They shut the plant down here a long time ago. Ever since then, it's been really hard to find the Oneida silverware that was made out here. Now they make it in China and their quality has suffered for that mistake. :( I would buy it, But I want to make sure where it's from before putting a bid in. If you could open it to check, I would really, really appreciate it. If not, I understand. Thanks! :)

I can look tomorrow. Since it was just purchased a year ago my bet is it was probly not made in the US but this set is nice nice quality and a special design. I will let you know tomorrow.
