the highest point is the furthest tip on the rear of the shoe and that is 4" high

No these fit pretty nicely. i got em' bigger to make my feet smaller and stylish, but I ended up getting fallen arches after having my baby---sadly i have to get rid of the shoes as beautiful as they are :0(
