Love your garden you have green thumb.Any pointers on lavender I can't keep mine alive. Knockout roses r the only survivers

What's your state? Indoors or outside? Lavender doesn't like to be very hot or very cold. Soil needs to be fertilized often. I use compost and water twice a week outside, once inside. I have knock out roses, they're nice!

CT both inside & out Hubby bought me two plants I kept 1 in house the other outside thanks for advice .I'm going to keep trying,thanks your asweetheart,

Do you have access to willows? Cut the green flexible branch tips of new growth, clip into pieces, soak in open jar two to three days, strain. Use willow water to soak new lavender clippings, in dark jar for roots. Lav might like growing in water. Grow a few like this from clippings. Plant one in pot with dirt, water using willow water. Keeps in fridge 2-3 weeks with lid on. Must be well stained. Let me know how it goes! Lavender likes to be near house to make good roots, and stays alive thru winter to regrow in spring. Indoors ensure light and air flow. Spray a bit of natural soap on leaves to clear pests. Add soap to water to kill fungus gnats in pot dirt eating roots. Keep clean of mites. Rinse under water weekly.
