2007S JOHN ADAMS PRESIDENTIAL DOLLAR PROOF FROM THE CONTROVERSIAL 1st YEAR OF RELEASE
2007 was the 1st year of the U.S. Mint Presidential Dollar Coins. It proved to stir up a controversy over the fact "IN GOD WE TRUST" was lettered on the coins edge rather than on the obverse where it has been since Lincoln first had it put on the 2 Cent Piece in the days before the Civil War. "IN GOD WE TRUST" was later moved to the obverse of these Dollar Coins starting in 2009.
As you can see, this particular coin appears to be of a higher grade proof, no scatches, spotting, or toning.
THANKS FOR LOOKING, HAVE A GREAT DAY, & GOD BLESS!!!
