Yes it does. You could also transfer pictures by way of memory card using a card reader which are on most new computers!

Comes with USB cord for camera.. And yeah, if you use a SD reader and card you wouldn't need the cable.

Yes it does.. comes with everything. You also have the option of just using a memory card reader on your pc.

My mom bought it for me new for Christmas. I don't need it. Used it to take some pictures at Christmas time so I wouldn't offend her.
