What is Christmas Basil?
It is an annual with large glossy leaves and a unique fruity, mulled wine aroma associated with Christmas time. A profusion of gorgeous purple flowers provides a decorative 'ornamental edible' potted plant on the windowsill.

I received seeds to grow the mother plant from The Garden Hoard a couple of years ago. The mother plant produced enough seeds for me to share this year. It is a very aromatic plant. Seeds can also be purchased from the Burpee seed catalog, that I am aware of. Feel free to google for more info.
