Included in this auction is 6 charms of different Buddhist symbols. Starting with the charm in the upper left side of the screen is the OM symbol which means everything, it is the vibration and consciousness of the entire universe. Next in the upper right side is the evil eye which represents the threat of jealous and malevolent stares that can be harmful to one’s health, property and prosperity. Directly below is the Lotus which symbolizes fortune and purification. The flower that despite its muddy environment, thrives and grows into a beautiful sweet smelling flower, growing deep strong roots and making the best out of its murky surrounding. The next charm on the left in the middle is the endless knot meaning "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." These are familiar words from Buddha. As for the bottom left charm. This symbol has left me a bit puzzled and my research has brought no new light to it meaning. (If anyone has any ideas. I welcome your knowledge on the matter!!) The bottom right is yet another eye. Great little cluster of charms all of which would look great together or used for a number of pieces. As always.
