I believe this is vintage. It is double sided, gold tone heart locket that measures approximately an inch and a half long and over an inch wide. It will fit two nicely sized portrait photos. It locks (clicks) closed just fine. The front features a large pearl-like bead with ornate scrolled framing. The back is scrolled, etched floral pattern. Very nice!
