Oh No....!!! I don't blame you for letting the vet cut their nails after that!! I've only been bitten once and that was by the hubby's rottweiler when I went to put his ear medicine in his infected ear. I can tell you it took about a year to heal as he bit deep into the muscle and messed up a nerve or ? in my arm. That was it for me...I won't Dr. the hubby's dog anymore, just the other doggies.

Yes, I have a shepherd and a boxer but I get their nails done at the vet now after one of them bit me lol
