This coloring book is inspired by Jim Harold's Campfire - which is a free podcast (available on nearly all platforms that offer podcasts).

The podcast solely features real people who call in and tell their true ghostly, supernatural, or unexplainable experiences.

Jim Harold does such an amazing job at keeping the content real and not phoney. In my opinion as a borderline skeptic, many of the stories the people tell are quite compelling, make you think, and are sometimes down right weird and chilling. It's mostly kid-friendly as Jim limits the use of profane language; although a curse word might slip through here and there. If the story will be too frightening for children, he'll give the listeners notice prior to that person's story being told.

The podcast airs once a week on Thursdays and runs for about 45 minutes long. During that time, you'll hear a variety of different stories being told - by approximately 5-6 different people. The entire podcast is edited and managed in a professional way and Jim engages with each caller by asking them questions after their story is over.

The podcast is or was even listed as one of the top podcasts voted by iTunes. It has a ton of great reviews and a really nice, solid fan base. I've personally been listening for approximately six years now - I look forward to it every week and have for a long time.

So, for me, this coloring book is quite extraordinary because I actually know which story each of the pictures are coming from and it's really neat to sort of see it come to life. My recommendation would be to check out some of the podcasts listed in the picture key in the back before diving into coloring. It'll give a more spooky feel to it if you do. I fought with myself on even listing this because I love it so much. But with Halloween coming up I thought it would be a great thing to offer my fellow Listians out there. I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I have!
