No I have not.. But.. I imagine that as long as the scale reads zero with the tray on then it should be fine.. But then again.. I wonder if a food scale is meant to weigh in grams... I really think what you need is a digital scale meant to weigh in oz and grams. I could be wrong about the food scales too.. Maybe they do weigh in grams.

I just put four quaters on a digital scale.. They weigh 3/4 of an ounce.. I don't have any more quaters or I would add more.. But at that rate, your necklace would weigh in comparison to about 8 quarters ?? That probably does not help much :)

I see you weighed it at 34 grams.. Gosh... That is just over what a silver round weighs... This looks like a heck of a lot more silver than that !

Well, I couldn't get any help from the Chefs here at work soo i went out & bought a digital food scale & that's what it said...Now, I didn't put the acual scale "shelf" on cuz I figured I didn't need it soo I hope that i didn't mess things up! lol But either way, it's really a nice piece! :)

Nothing to be sorry about Kelly.. It will be a huge difference for you in regards to what this may potentially truly be worth ! I may be way wrong too.. But my guess, by looking is that it must be several ounces... Making this worth a lot ! You will get a crap more credits for it !! Just trying to help a little... I did a magnet test 3 times, with 3 different strengths & it never was attracted! Hhhmm... I don't see any other markings on the rest of the necklace, unless I'm missing it, sorry!

I did take the necklace to work, but unfortunately, it was the Head Chef that came in first thing this morning & he's sooo by the book... I don't know who's in tomorrow morning soo I'll try again, ok?! I do know that when I compare it to my other necklaces, it's heavier, but not uncomfortabe... it coud be about the same weight as 3-5 of my "normal" necklaces put together!
