FREE: Sealing Wax Set "J" with Wax

I bought this at the French Quarter of Disneyland a really long time ago (twenty years maybe), so the wax might be all dried out by now, but I'm cleaning out and there is no reason not to at least include it.

How it works is that you light the wax (there is a wick) and then drip the wax that comes off (which is VERY hot - do NOT touch it) onto the back of an envelope. Then you press your stamp onto the wax and it is sealed. It was used before envelopes (in the olden days) so you could know if someone had tampered with your correspondence. I've found that if you go through the USPS, though, the stamp usually will come off because of their automated machines.

However, it is good for hand delivering and it is super fancy looking. Let me know if you have any questions.
