The listing, Really Cool Elf Slippers has ended.
I saw someone selling this pattern on Listia and just wanted to see if I could do this stitch. It's a free domain pattern , so downloaded it and here is the result. Yes, I could crochet this and what fun they are to do! They fit me, I wear a 6 to 7. There's still lots of stretch if you have a bigger foot. What fun these are. Are you brave enough to wear these?

~ Wonderful Auction Marilyn ~ Wishing you a Prosperous, Healthy, Happy New Year! Already a fan, watching ;-)
Hi, nice to hear from you. Also wishing you a joyous new year. I'm so glad we are fans. I noticed your bead auction. Nice beads, a little big for me. I will be putting my hooks and needles away for awhile and pulling out my beads. Look for beaded dragonflies, butterflies and soon maybe a hummingbird or two.
It's public domain. Just browse crochet elf shoes. I never auction other peoples patterns. That's unethical. I do crochet others' patterns and change them slightly so that I'm not infringing to much. Actually I'm friends with many pattern designers as I also design many patterns and we kind of stick together.
Lori, that's so cool. Growing up with my dad (a WWII vet.) one arm and one very disabled hand and half of his bottom blown off, I never knew he was disabled. We still laugh when he tells us to be sure his gloves are both right handed.(He's 89 and still going strong!). My first hubby had a prosthesis (sp?) . He also had a leg missing. What a sweety he was. I miss him. Anyway, good luck in the bidding.
aren't these just the cutest? Love them! I noticed you use a loom, and although I crochet a tiny bit, I cannot knit at all. Do you think it is a good idea to get a loom? Would it be hard to learn? You can message me! thx Legends Karen (BTW My mom's name is (or was-she changed it to Lyn) Marilyn too!
There is some stretch in these shoes but I do not think they would comfortable stretch that much. Yes, I will be making some other styles. I just saw this stitch and wanted to try it. I like to do different stuff, not just the run of the mill. Thanks for the encouragement.
hello....I am watching these cute shoes.....I have searched everywhere for the pattern....want to make them for my mother, who has a much bigger foot than I do....I found the knit pattern but cannot find the crochet pattern, can you send me the link? thanks
The stitch is really easy , just have to get the "jest" of it, then it's all repitition. Same four rows, over and over. Try it again. It's a very cool design.
