Hello Everyone, as you seen in my title this will be my last auction that Im listing. Im leaving this site because I have found other things I enjoy alot more and just ain't happy here anymore. I hate to go but I think its for the best. But I also want you all to know Im truly going to miss each one of you all alot. Ive had such alot of fun on here for the past 4 yrs. So I decided before I go to do a auction with bids only to give everyone a chance to bid. Also I want you to know that I will not be deleting my account till the winner has left feedback and my credits are released because ive been holding on to all of my credits to cash out on a $100 gift card. Sad to see another good member leave but it seems to be a growing trend that the owners just don't respond to. Since members were allowed to sell excess credits last year the inflation has been more than 400%!!! That's just ludicrous. It's all about their profit margin now and not their members.

I wish that some of us had the wherewithal to develop our own site. It could be more of a co-op and return to the original ideals that this site had in the beginning.

I wish you much luck and please let us know what other sites you have found. I'm sure many would love to hear as more & more are considering an exodus from here as well. :)

Thank you so much and yes your right its truly become to much and like others its not fun anymore. I coupon now and over half the stuff listed on here I can use coupons and get pretty much free so why would I spend a million credits on it. I feel like its not a friendly sun site anymore and the owners careless. And Ive been thinking the same thing it would be nice to create a site like this one but keep it the way this site used to be. I totally agree with everyone one of they above comments. I remember when 1000 credits = $1.00 USD.... Reward Store got greedy and turned into an auction within an auction? I paid 10-12K for a Lista coffee mug (that I never use) just 2 years ago..... now they are like 200,000 for the same coffee mug. Gift Card Sales started a huge inflation as well. It is so sad because now we are forced to charge these crazy credits or we end up paying people to take our items.... and most of us pay shipping ontop of that.... Now they are allowing people to buy and sell credits for cash... all of this has washed the ratio on credits to dollars down the drain. ---- My biggest pet peve on Listia... all of these changes causing long time members to wrap it up, but they never implemented an identity verification that worked. Dozens and dozens of fake and useless auctions listed weekly... This is not rocket science folks!! IMO Listia has not only gotten greedy with the profits, but they are spending too much time and money on very time consuming nonsense! I have close to 2 million credits just sitting there. I could cash out and close up too... but I'd rather spend the credits here before I disappear completely. Spending here --- Only to give back to those that have earned their credits the old school way... I wish you the best and Happy Holidays to everyone!! <3

I have a mug also that I got for 20,000 few yrs ago and it just sits lol but its sad how bad it has gotten and they don't care. I refuse to cash in my credits for money to let them make more off me so Im buying a gift card even though id getting ripped off but its still better then letting listia have it. Im going to miss everyone on here but Im just over it i don't have fun anymore on here and Ive got into couponing big time and knowing I can get my stuff dirt cheap or free I refuse to spend millions on here. I know I hate to leave but I just dont enjoy it anymore and all my main sellers and buyers have already left. Im used to get 5-10 packages daily I the mail for yrs and me shipping every other day but now I get one a month maybe because there aint nothing worth paying a million credits for plus I coupon and shop free daily so I cant break myself to blow credits which is money to me as well as everyone else on something I can get dirt cheap. But im truly going to miss everyone alot. This used to be my life. But im happy your here supporting my last auction and I thought it was only fair to start it low to give everyone a chance at it. I so agree with everyone about the inflated prices. I remember buying my first Coach bag 5 years ago for 50,000 credits and thought that was high. Now they act like a bank and just raised our rates and made our credits worthless. I listed 3 items on a Gin 5 days ago and now I will end up paying for the shipping, due to the raise in credits again. I did join a large group of people who are not listing or bidding on anything here from Nov 1-3...It's actually a boycott I guess to show unity and let them wonder what's happening. I actually shortened my auctions to fit that criteria. Three days of non bidding might wake them up and I think it's a great idea. I wish you the best of luck and wish someone would start a site like this, I would be the first to sign up. Don't know how much longer I can take this after over 6 years on the site...Disgusting for sure!

Yea Ive got a few coach bags on here when I started for nothing and now they want millions for a used beat up bag. No will not happen. I used to keep ten or more actions going non stop for yrs but this past or I do well to list one a month. I don't have fun anymore and the prices are not worth it when you coupon and can get it for almost free. I wish they would change but they want all they are doing is putting their self in the ground. Hopefully one day we will have a new site for us all to job like this but without raising credits. Heck ebay and amazon aint this high ya know. Awe! Sorry to see you leave. I know how you feel, and I'm thinking about quiting too. This site is costing me on shipping and products. I mailed a package that cost me $18.25, and that didn't cover the price of shipping or goods. If Listia would give you credits for listing without free shipping this site would be better. I get mad when someone says it's a free site, and no its not someone is paying for products and shipping. I wished I knew how to get coupons.
This is a great auction. I've been on here over 5 years. I hardly list on eBay because their fees keep going up too. I've shipped out so many things I went in the red. You mostly have to do GIN to come out, and then it might not sell, and you lose credits for using gin. I sometimes forget to remove auto resist, then you get charged again. 21 day auctions cost 750,000 a month. This site use to be fun. Then there's those that don't want to hit the GOT IT! AND FEEDBACK. Well, I hate to see you go, and it want be long before I'll take a brake too. Someone said Listia will delete you if you haven't used your account in a year.

I, too, hate to see you go, yet I understand!! It is so disgusting to see a $5.00 Amazon card go for 500,000+ credits!!! It is unreal! Agreed about the site. With things averaging 1 million credits or more its just not worth it or fun anymore. People selling used clothes for 300000 credits and things like that. I remember 2 years ago you could still get great deals! Now i just have credits sitting til i find something i might like. The owners have ruined their own site, huge inflated fees and allowing over charging for items , i remember an auction recently cost me like 60,000 credits in fees!! So then you have to raise the amount to cover fees and shopping costs! I think alot of people are leaving because there are a LOT less auctions even available to look at . Used to take hours just to look through ladies purses or clothing. Now, maybe ill get a ripped old shirt for 150,000 credits. :(

I knowita as. When I started few yrs back it was 1,000 credits for $1 and it was endless auctions and great stuff. My mailbox for over two yrs was over flowing daily with stuff and now I just sit on them and nithung worth getting. I coupon now and can get over half the stuff on here for nothing so why would I blow credits on it. Truly sad. Im gonna miss everyone but its for the best and thanks to the owners for that. We will all miss you. You take care of yourself. Ive quit quite a few times for different reasons. Seen alot of good ones go too. Its not fun anymore,very stressful and people dont bid very high to get all the nice items.!!!I will find something else too, this is a sad day.Got an auction on now, and its got alot on it and im adding to it but credits are low. The past 3 yrs this site has bought all of my daughters Christmas every single item. But not this year. Couponing and rebate apps have bought it all but I am buying a gift card right before I delete my account so I can use it on Christmas but still the credits have gotten to much and its truly not a fun site anymore. Hello my lovely ladies! First off I wanna say thank you to each and every one of you beautiful ladies for truly supporting me and my auction, it truly means alot to me. When I decided to leave listia I wanted to leave the right way and to me that was to go out with a bang meaning do a really huge auction. I had put so much together over past month just for my very last auction but then I got worried and nervous that what if it didn't do good and people would be afraid to bid because its my last auction or what if I don't get bids or enough people watching and supporting me. All these things went through my head so I said forget it ill just list a small auction and leave it at that. Well its bothering me. Yeah some of you all are probably thinking has she lost her mind. Lol. But after seeing how many watchers and bidders and all these comments with all this support from you amazing ladies it got to me. I truly wanna go leave listia the way I feel I should leave and how I wanna leave. And that's not this small auction. Im debating on doing just one more auction with all kinds of makeup and beauty products and list it at 0 and let you all bid. I feel like that will make me happy if I do this. So give me a couple weeks to reget things together and Im gonna list just one more auction with the items I enjoy listing and the items I always used to list. I wanna do a large box full of all kinds of beauty because you all truly mean alot to me. Listia to me was not about credits it was all about you ladies and you all are the reason Ive stayed this long. Sorry I accidentally fall a sleep. He bought a 40' 5th wheel RV and parked it on his storage property, it already had a well and sewer. With the 2 slide
outs the kitchen area and living room is as big as my kitchen and living room , and it has a master bedroom, and a bedroom that has 2 built in Twin beds. He removed one twin bed and made an office. He is the deappreciation the trailer because it's used for his office, and office site. I can't wait for him to retire. I need him here hear to help with landscaping, patios, decking, and landscaping, no one did much outside here. He gets some things done in the winter, but somethings will have to wait until he retires.
