Description

The listing, Women's High-Heeled Boots, sz 8.5 has ended.

One Pair of Slightly used boots. They were worn maybe 3 or 4 times. I have had them in a box ever since. In great condition, a few storage marks wiped right off with a slightly damp cloth. The boots are size 8.5 and have a tag on them that says all man-made material. The heels are 4-inches high. The boots themselves are about 16.5 inches tall making the legs about 12.5 inches tall. They reach a couple inches below my knee and I'm 5'8". I'll be happy to answer any questions possible, just post a comment.

The brand name is "Bamboo".

Winner pays exact shipping. To help calculate costs, the shoes inside the shipping box weigh 2.5 lbs (that is 2 lbs 8oz) and ship in a normal size package (parcel post from USPS). I will be shipping from zip code 02134 and delivery confirmation adds 70 cents and is a requirement. They do fit in a medium flat rate box so the maximum shipping amount will be 11.65 (flat rate price plus shipping confirmation). The closer you live the cheaper the shipping. (For example, to ship to one town in CT is was only 6.45, confirmation included).

I will not switch to free shipping. I apologize, but since shoes are such a user-specific item I simply don't believe I can get the credits to warrant free shipping. Rather I am simply trying to get these nice boots to a person who will wear them more than I ever did. (At 5'8" I don't need 4" heels)

As always, thanks for looking and happy bidding.

P.S. I do not smoke, I do have cats. The boots have been kept in a cat free room however.

Gaaaahhhhh! I wear a size 12 in mens so I don't know if I can fit in these! If you think I can I might offer almost all of my credits for them. I need black shoes desperately! (I'm straight by the way, I'm a guy but I'm classified as emo or scene so I would be using these for photo shoots and such.) but if you can please anyone answer me back and tell me if I can maybe fit in to these D:

Sorry, I don't think there's any way you'd squeeze in. The boot itself is fairly rigid before the leg begins, which makes for a great and comfortable fit for me, but likely will not work for you. I appreciate your interest. but men's sizes are always much larger if I remember correctly. The measurements are there, you can check for yourself.

I love these! How wide are the tops of the boots (around the calf?)

Laid out and without stretching the top of the boots are 15" all the way around. This is with the laces fully closed (so that the left and right side of the front of the boot touch all the way up. By adjusting the laces they can become wider, but not much smaller. There's also a small stretch band on the inside of the boot near the zipper to allow for an extra inch of space when you put them on, so they are wear-ably about 16" around with laces fully closed and no gap in the front of the boot. There is a nice piece of black fabric to make the front of the boot all black and not show skin, leggings, etc. which I believe is normal for this style boot. Great question, and hope this helps.

No, as posted in the auction, I will not be doing free shipping for this item. I will be taking shipping payment through paypal. The highest possible shipping cost is with the Medium flat rate box, so it can only get cheaper from there. Thanks for stopping by.

I think for you it's a good idea to look at the measurements. My foot heal to toe is 9.5" and the shoes fit me great. I did a size conversion at http://www.csgnetwork.com/shoe_size_converter.html and it told me that an 8.5 women's shoe is only a 7.5 men's shoe and that a size 12 men's shoe doesn't even convert to women's sizes (I'm guessing because women shoes don't come in a high enough size). I don't believe that the shoe will fit you, but bidding is always a personal choice. You are definitely more experienced than I am in size converting. They fit feet that are about 9.5" long as a way to approximate if they would fit you. I hope you understand that I would love for the shoes to fit, but I just don't want you to bid on the item and be disappointed if they don't fit. Hope this helps!
