But hone gruff dad (Darren McGavin) & doting mom (Melinda Dillon) regularly respond with "You'll shoot your eye out!" Ralphie mounts a full-scale Santa-begging campaign. Ahhh....my favorite movie. When my sister and I were young, she dared me to put my tongue on the inside of our freezer...I was stuck. My tounge had to be coterized (to stop the bleeding)
Yuck, I know...but I relate to that movie;).
