I was just asked if it was played side ways or down like a recorder. I did not realize they had different names. It is played down. I thought wooden "flutes" were all the same. As you see it has not been played much and not recent at all.

I do not know what key it is in. As far as I know none of my friends would either but I will look around to see if I can find some one who could help me with that.
