If you see a stone in a ring and someone says its a ruby and its purple looking,it could be a North Carolina Ruby,they are purple.The North Carolina Rubies are beautiful,but purple,real not man made.Fanned and bidding.Beautiful ring.

Hey, thanks so much for sharing that, I had never heard that before. It is so hard to accurately depict jewelry, I am finding out the hard way, this being my first jewelry listing, and there are so many very knowledgeable folk out there, far more than me. But, this stone REALLY is red, I wish I could have gotten a better pic! Fanned back.
