The listing, Aphrodite Rose of Sharon Hibiscus-Mauve Color - 12+ seeds has ended.
Thank you for looking at my auction. This is a picture of my mauve color Aphrodite Rose of Sharon hibiscus growing in my yard. The actual color is a gorgeous soft mauve I am offering 12+ seeds for this auction. 12 seeds will give you more of a chance of success. I soak my seeds for 2 days in water to help with germination. After soaking, plant them in a flat and cover with about 1/4" of soil. Put in full sun and keep moist but not soaked to eliminate molding. They will come up for you. When they get about 3" - 4" tall, transplant to small pots until they get big enough to handle to transplant to the ground in full sun to partial shade. They are very drought tolerant. They are also fast growers. At the end of their growing season, the seed pods will turn brown and split to expose the dark, round seeds. Also, the leaves will fall off. They are great for a focal attraction in your yard. They can be grown as a tree or trimmed to a bush. You will be the talk of your block. You will be very proud and pleased with these babies. I am.
