What you see is what you get. You can still download the mp3 software off the Rio website for your computer. I will provide you with the link if you have trouble. It holds up to 50 songs. It also has a radio tuner, stopwatch, equalizer settings, and features an Blue Indiglo back-lit LCD screen.

Do I understand your comments correctly: the only source that can be downloaded is from RIO website and no other? How many Gigabytes? Does it use a AAA battery or is it an internal battery.

you can download songs from anywhere as long as there in mp3 format...you just need the free Rio software (found on the Rio website) to put the song on the player. It takes 1AAA so you never need to worry about it not holding a charge!! You can only charge an internal battery so many times(like an IPOD) before you have a fancy paper weight. It has a 128mb storage with a radio tuner built in and a stopwatch. it can hold about 50 songs it also has a built in equalizer with 6 presets and one custom preset with 5 frequency controls. Now that I'm looking closer at it this thing is pretty cool. Not even my IPOD has this many options!!

Yes....It will only hold about 50 songs (depending on length and quality) or what ever you can fit into 125mb.
