I think it is real. Is is really nice. It doesn't feel like plastic and it has a stamp on the back of the cameo. It came out of a old jewelry box that I got from my aunt when she died. She was 72. I don't really wear cameo's so I thought I would passit on. Thanks for looking--I also have a pair of cameo earrings (post) They are small but nice. Haven't decided if I'm going to list them or not.
