Morton owns the distinction of being the first QB to ever start Super Bowls for 2 different teams (Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl V, Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XII). He played for 10 years with the Cowboys, although he started as a back to Don Meredith before splitting starts with Roger Staubach. Staubach eventually won, largely die to popularity with fans; Morton had a nice 32-14 record as a starter with the Cowboys.
Morton joined the Broncos in 1977 and promptly led the Broncos to the Super Bowl in his first season in Denver. He played 6 seasons in Denver, compiling a 41-23 record as a starter and is a member of the Broncos Ring of Honor.
