Okay, Answer to your question: Yes, you can play the game on a Playstation 2. I have a Playstation 2 Slim and it works fine.

actually the main Character from this game makes an appearance in Kingdom Heart's, though he goes by Leon in Kingdom Hearts where his name is Squall Leonheart in Final Fantasy VIII

actually they still make dragon warrior games under the dragon quest name and i highly highly recommend 8 and fanned and watching welcome to Listia

sure it is dragon quest is on playstation two go find it NOW(MUST OWN) just as good as ff.beautiful beautiful game to look at its cell shaded my g/f at the time would play it as much as me lol then there is one game on ds called sentinals of the starry skies and theres two games on wii
