A Very nice vintage - re-print from the Norman Rockwell Saturday Evening Post -May 25,1957 - cost 15 cents. This is called - After the Prom- photo. It was a imprint of a bunch of photos they did on Norman from -1894 - 1978. These was in the back of magazine that came out in 1978. There our 2 stories on the back of this photo is about. Plus the story on After the Prom. What a great item. Found these at a local yard sale here in Ky and this is just one i found. There was alot of these and i thought Listia would be a great place to put them one..... Great item to have & very Vintage art work and a really nice Collectors item also. Just 25 Credits & $4.99 Shipping on these. Very rare and the cost is for postage ,confirmation & handling and ,gas ect..... So to protect this in shipping. Thanks for looking and God Bless Norman Rockwell work he did for America. Steve,Ky

Norman Rockwell once said he [ainted life as i would like to to be.This came out in -5-25-57 .And everyone wonder if he really ment what he said. The modles where pretty young & a good looking boy , but in the midst of his painting he was over come by irresistible impluse to caricature. This he called his chinless picture all of the all the characters init possesses a normal chin. All weak as polliwogs." But then maybe he was trying to portray a more substantial ideal we see at glance. But just seeing this happy glow on the faces of this great unassuming couple,Rockwell convinces us that you dont have to be a football hero or pom queen to have a good time... That is the After The Prom is About And it is written on here plus Norman Rockwell 1894 - 1978 ...Thanks for asking have a few more prints to come also. God Bless and Thanks Steve,ky Happy 2012 to you and yours there. And Hang on to that painting that is so Wasome to hear also....Steve,Ky Great phot you have on Listia Also God bless Our babies ..........

Thank you so much for posting the info...It was bought for my grandparents when my dad what in his 20's by my uncle cause the young boy on the bench looked like my dad as a young teenager and as funny as it is the man behind the bar looked like my dad when he got older lol. Yes I have wanted it from my grandparents since I was a little girl and before they pasted they gave it to me to make sure I was the one to get it. It is somthing I treasure. I now look for Norman Rockwell's items everywhere I go. They have such a innocent homey feeling. lol
