Description

The listing, CHILI PEQUIN (Capsicum annuum)10 seeds has ended.

The Chile pequin is a much sought after perennial native hot pepper that is well behaved in the garden. It is an easy to grow favorite that the birds will also appreciate. Chile pequins will grow with sun or shade and respond to good care with more growth and fruits. The fruits are edilble and on the hot side as a seasoning. Beautiful when used in mass plantings.
there are an occasional purple one that appear on the bush and l like to take those and put in an old soy sauce bottle that l save ( mrs hates that l save them lol )put in some hot vinegar and seal the bottle great on beans and salads
there are so many uses for these little critters , you can dry them for later use , use them in salsa , omelets are my favorite
l grow mine in a pot they do great but will also be a nice addition to any garden
all listia rules ally good luck and happy bidding

How spicy are these? I live in an area where deer, birds, and squirrels eat anything and everything. Last time they avoided bitter plants, but I haven't tried anything spicy.

No problem, I just get really tired of the animals eating plants to death - they eat the fruit, and before winter the plant too. :/ They left a bitter melon plant alone though, so I have hopes for spicy one.
