EAR CANDELING, also known as ear coning is a therapeutic art that has been around since 2500 B.C., used by the ancient Egyptians. High-quality, ear candles are handmade from beeswax and unbleached cotton cloths and are typically 9-12" and will burn for aprox 5 minutes.

Through a process called "convection" (softer waxes and toxins will be drawn out of the ear, oxidized and turned into vapors during the procedure. (PICTURE #2 is myself actually having the process done).

This simple and time-proven therapy can be very effective in removing old and troublesome blockages from the ear canal, without the use of solutions or probes.
Many people attest to the value of ear candling in cleansing the ear canals and sinus passages, as well as a spiritual way of ridding the body of toxins and balancing chakras.

***Other items needed: a small paper plate or piece of foil to catch any ashes (these burn straight and ashes don't fall off, but use foil as precaution), bowl of water, and a damp towel. The person lays their head on the side, the the candle is lit, wait until smoke escapes from the cone and then place inside the ear. Burn aprox 3/4 down the candle then remove and dip lit candle end in water to extinguish. **Instructions will be included :)

HI!! They're normally made from strips of linen soaked in either beeswax or Soy, or a combo of the two. They can be found in holistic, spa, or novelty shops and in places that have Amish Country too :) They work great for me!! THANX For stopping and sharing!!

I am so curious about this as I love natural remedies, did you feel a difference after having it done? Is there any way to do it to yourself or do you have to have someone else apply it?

OMGosh!! I did did/do feel a difference when I use them. My daughter is the director for a high-end day spa business and when I had a severe sinus infection and it caused Vertigo for a month, she recommended them to me. I had a friend help me since it was my first time and I was still rather dizzy. And now I can do myself in the bathroom in front of a big mirror. I also now offer it in my own massage business as an add-on. It is definitely more relaxing to have someone else do it, however it can be done on your own for the relief if no one is around to help. It's recommended to only do about every 3-6 mo's since ear wax is a natural defence for the body. GOOD LUCK if you bid :)

YES! It did for me :) I started using them when I had a severe sinus infection that caused veritgo for a month!! I went to my local holistic shop, bought 6 of them and used right away!! A friend helped me the first time and WOW it really did help me get back on my feet -- I hadn't even been able to drive! I have chronic sinusitis so it does give me pressure relief when I have issues :) And I also offer the service in my own massage business as an add-on.
