this is a slightly used A/V cord for ipods, it allows the user to watch movies and listen to music on your TV from your Ipod, i used it maybe 5 times, it also serves as a charger

not sure if it will work with iphones or ipads

Maybe this is a dumb question... But how does in work in regards to pixilation? Does the quality of the movie suffer from the ipod size content?

i dont see why not, it works as an A/V cord, it being jailbroken shouldnt make a difference

does it only work if ur iPod / iPhone is a certain software version?

its only a cable, it doesnt pick up on the software, so no, it can be used with any software. i know 100% that it will work for ipods, but im not sure of iphones or ipads
