FREE: Homemade Embroidery Shades of Green Butterfly-Sew or Glue on

This is a multiple colored green butterfly with blue and gold accents. (it was very hard to get a picture close to the shade it is. It is so much prettier than what I could make the camera do.
This is embroidered on a combination of different fabrics...such as tulle, satin and netting. I do a different combination on each. To apply you may sew (machine or hand) or apply glue to the back. If putting on something like a backpack or other heavy duty material I personally would suggest sewing. The amount of glue it may take to adhere could possibly seep through and ruin the butterfly, and or the object you are trying to mount it to.
I will say though, that I prefer stitching if at all possible. But on any of my appliques that have stabilizer on the back glue will do.
