I have had the hardest time finding a copyright on this book. There is nothing printed in the front or back.

The book has an owners name plate (sticker)
and there is writing inside the front cover.
one of which says:
"Christmas 1920 From Rodney"

binding is ok, but there is one loose page.
Edges of pages are yellow from age.
I don't see any other writing inside book.

A.L. Burt was an active publishing company from 1883-1937. Most of their stuff was done between 1885 and 1935..So I'm thinkin 1890-1900? would be a good guess but not for sure.. I tried to look it up but it seems that your not the only one with this copy of the book that can't find out the publishing date. Most libraries don't even have record of its publishing date. I hope the lil bit of info I gave helped =)

lol yep, that's about as far as I got and I'm the "GOOGLE QUEEN" lol!
I found 2 other people with the same book, and they don't see a date in it either.

I looked it up on Amazon and it said it was published January 1, 1918
