It's wonderful, very generous of you to offer this book of hope. Encouragement is always an invaluable aid to recovery. Statistics show that a huge percentage of those who suffer from a major depressive event are likely to suffer another such event in their lifetime. Many of us are vulnerable due to the unpredictable and inevitable events in Life. It should be mentioned, as well, that what is often first diagnosed as MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) can be, instead, Manic Depression, otherwise known as Bipolar Disorder. Treatment is not the same for both illnesses, but similar in dealing with symptoms and triggers.
Thank you, again, for offering this to those who are battling this illness or have friends and loved ones who we are hoping to support.
I would also like to recommend to your bidders, The Depression Workbook, by Mary Ellen Copeland. Mental Illness affects the lives of 1 in 4 Americans. It is time for it to be safe for sufferers to come out of the closet and get help without suffering from the stigma attached to it by an archaic Bedlam mentality propagated by the ignorance and fear of others.

I also suffer from depression and have been in the hospital for it. I'm doing a lot better than I was thanks to the medications that I'm on. I'm hoping this book will be of help to others battling depression.
