Harley Quinn Comic Original One-Shot Loot Crate Exclusive (#1)

Near mint condition - please see photos for details. The front bottom right corner edge is bent and there are very slight front cover creases that were very hard to photograph due to them being so slight. However, with that said, the remaining portion of the comic is in great condition. No rips or tears or major creases or bends. Just please see the photos above before deciding to bid.

This is the very first original and exclusive copy of the comic that was only provided to Loot Crate subscribers back in April 2016. It could not be purchased anywhere else and was not reprinted for general distribution. However, DC Comics decided to reprint it and include it in the hardcover collection, Harley Quinn Vol. 5: The Joker's Last Laugh HC that went on sale September 14, 2016 for $24.99.

At this time, you still cannot purchase this specific comic individually, it can only be purchased by buying the entire hardcover collection.

For anyone that's a true fan and did not subscribe to the April Loot Crate, this is something pretty unique to have in your collection.

I am not a professional when it comes to comic books, I only became a buyer of them about 5 years ago when my young son started becoming interested. My experience and expertise is quite limited but I do have enough common sense to assist you with any questions you might have about the condition. Although I do have an affinity for nerds, my mind kind of automatically shuts down when things get too nerdy-complicated. But I promise that I'll help you as best I can. If not, then I have my 10 year old son at my disposal who knows a heck of a lot more than I do - so chances are we'll all come out of this alive...

Thanks! I appreciate your comment! However, it doesn't seem as unique when put into that perspective, ha. I tried to find their current subscriber amount and the best I could find from July 2016 was approximately 1M. So I suppose that makes sense that only half of their subscribers got it. Even so, I guess it should also be considered that it was still only limited to subscribers at the time. I'm not well-versed on things within the comic realm and I can easily over look things like what you said, so I do appreciate your input - it's certainly an interesting tidbit for sure. Thanks again!

You are completely right but they made two different versions of this comic one was a mini and one was a full-size. Is this the full-size issue?

It's the full size version - I had no idea that they had made two version which I think is kind of interesting. Does that increase the uniqueness at all? Like I said, I'm fairly clueless when it comes to this stuff but I do still find it fascinating. My 10 year old loves pop culture collectibles but his interest is fairly limited with comics, ha - which is why I decided to clear out some of the things he's sort of just thrown to the side.

Even if it is the many it is still very exclusive say you have a great piece here and I for one will be watching....

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I'm kind of thrilled that it's been so well received. I figured that since it was Suicide Squad-ish that at least someone might be interested. Then I did some research prior to listing it and realized that it was actually a little more unique than I realized. So it's been kind of fun to see the number of watchers slowly increase as time goes on. But thank you again, means a lot!

Actually I do have the smaller prints it comic of the two and have been looking for the longer one for a little while now. I have found that many times but for what people are charging for it and what I've seen that it is actually worth it just doesn't match up so I continue to look. However it is a great comic the smaller one is worth about $23 and the larger one is worth about 11 to 16 depending on who is buying it and how much they want it. So you have yourself a very good comic there even though it doesn't show a lot of return right now I'm sure it will in the near future. Congratulations that is a great comment to have if not for the value prop for the collecting aspect....

I appreciate it very much to have some good solid input on the comic itself especially since I haven't even read it myself. I might do just that before it's over so I can see what the fuss is all about, ha. But is it more the content of the comic or is it the fact that it's somewhat exclusive that causes people to request so much for it? I don't like listing things for astronomical prices, I find it incredibly unfair to the middle folks on here who are trying hard to make the site worth their while. I was initially worried that I had set it too high but I had to remind myself of how of a credit to dollar ratio inflation we've experience over the last year, and ultimately felt that in the grand scheme of things that's quite a fair starting amount. I don't expect it to go much higher at the end but maybe it will, you just never know. Either way, I'm grateful that I can even still survive on here these days and whatever I do get from it will be put towards Christmas gifts for my 10 year old son. So it's a win-win either way for me and also a win for whoever gets it.
