wow this is nice .Daughter would love it. Can I ask you how wide it is at the bottom? I got her one and it is a little too small. the width on the bottom made the difference I think it was 11 X 6 but only 2 inches wide. the wear you are describing is typical for these dooney bags- it's plastic coated canvas. i've got a similar type of bag and there's wear to it, but i love it so much. good luck to you.

Thanks so much I didn't know if maybe one could just take the the plastic liner off and underneath would be like a brand new purse ? Because the straps and leather are great so get rid of the plastic and it will be good as new! Thanks again
