I have decided to once again share some of the jewelry pieces I have designed and made, this is a beautiful opalized ammonite and biwi pearl, as well as cultured pearl pendant, handcrafted with sterling silver.
These Opalized Ammonite Fossils are a beautiful memento of times gone by---long gone by! Ammonites lived in the open seas and became extinct 65 million years ago, at the same time the dinosaurs became extinct. These specimens feature brilliant color flashes and are coveted collector items.

a little over 1 1/2 inches long and about 1 1/8 inches wide, it is a goodsize pendant :)
