I understand about not being able to afford free shipping..As for a fair price for shipping I would say to get weight on what it is you are shipping and set the shipping fee to winner pays exact shipping.That way they can check the USPS site and find out what it will cost..If you really want to do a flat rate I'd say for this anyway to put them in a flat rate envelope.The cost is $4.95 to anywhere in the US.
I always try to use flat rate boxes and envelopes when I can.
