It originally would have held betel nuts, fennel seeds or other spices; it makes me think of a magical little box that holds special little treasures. Could it be?

Always love your auctions. That's a cool box. I love the blue eyewash cup. I have one that's a dark purple almost black in appearance. I love that thing cause it's so much easier than dropping visine on your eyeballs lol. I'm surprised they've pretty much become obsolete.

The box is approx 4.5 x 4" across the top and 2.5" high. The longest skeleton key is 2.75", and the eye wash cup is 1.5" wide and 2.5" high. COMING SOON (today): MORE treasures for the box!!
