This is a clock I bought in Germany in 1990..I paid 190 duetch marks back then before they started using euros...that converts to about $124....I do not know the brand, no markings on this clock..It is about 16 inches wide...I found one that is similar to this one at target called french boutique for $59...It has roman numerals and needs one AA battery...works great..keeps great time and looks great on the wall anywhere...not sure of the material it is made of...its kind of like wood..not sure. Looks brand new..I was reading all my journals I wrote in while I was in Germany and I wrote about this clock in it...that's how I know what I paid for it..The town I bought it in is called Hanau...Happy bidding.
