I live in Ohio also, and 4.00 seems like way to much for just 1 CD. It should only be about 2.00 to ship.(I know because I ship DVD cases for about $2.50)

You can use this to upgrade to XP if you have an older system - ME/2000 Professional/98 but make sure you check the minimum requirements. The other thing is you Must have a COA that state XP Home Upgrade or it will not work.

I just have one question -- UPGRADE from Win 98 or Win 2000 ?

I know Vista has upgrade to Win 7 -- but XP is a Clean Install

The UPGRADE thing is like taking OS to the next higher level

Nope this is an Upgrade disc just like Windows 7 has an Upgrade option to purchase. Windows XP also did some Upgrade options to upgrade from 98/95/ME/2000 Pro to XP. Windows XP Upgrades have been around since just after ME was out since it was their bad OS. Just like Vista can be upgraded since its the new ME (of course in my personal opinion).

What I was trying to say is that you need a working Windoze OS installed

Then you use the UPGRADE to turn it into NEW OS -- Bodywork & Paint !

Yeap that is what you need. If you have a Windows System older than XP and it's working or you have the disc for your system and can reinstall it you can use this disc but you must have a COA XP Home Key to install.
