This ashtray is delightfully vintage! This fabulous retro piece would look great in any midcentury or '50s themed room. It's very funky and cool and perfect for the "smokin'" lover of all things vintage. The bottom reads, "Shawnee USA 208." Measures 11" at longest point and 7.5" at widest point.

It will be a lot easier for me to QUIT SMOKING if I don't have an ashtray...and I love this retro one...here is your chance to own a piece of the 50s!!

Love your funny auction title and this really is a piece of design history. But also can you imagine 100's of years from now if this was dug up by archeologists not knowing what it was? A ceremonial dish? A weapon? LOL!

Any chance you could show a pic of the bottom of the piece so I can see the shawnnee writing on the bottom? Without that its hard to tell a authentic Shawnee marking.

Well, the only way I have to get pics up right now is my phone...and my phone charges me 3.5 minutes PER upload....unfortunately I have less than 30 min. left on my phone until my automatic refill 1/22... :(

Could u Look at the bottowm and copy and paste the exact wording/markings on the bottom? You're Claiming it's shawnee but if you can't give any pics of info showing the shanwnee markings it makes me a bit suspeicous....

It just says, "Shawnee" on one line and then below it, "USA 208" I mean, I don't know what other kind of description I can give. I just know it's old and I picked it up at a flea market about 10 yr. ago.
