It's a hard cover book, 288 pages, practically new condition. No wear/tears. Lots of photos throughout the book as it goes through the history of stock cars and racing.

does it go to the year 2012? because my hubby had boughtme the one the has the black cover one. if it is not then I will bid on it. I love NASCAR. been watching the races since I was a little girl.

it starts in '49 and goes to 1981. The last few chapters covers each car manufacturer entries and the part they played in the history of racing. The book itself was published in 2002.
