this is the router, if you have a modem (meaning you have internet) this is the piece that makes your internet wireless.

Do you have instructions on how to use it? Im not technical at all but I do have internet and my son has a computer in his room that does nt have the modem attached

It appears to be a DSL modem/wireless gateway. Does it support wireless networking for cable internet via a cable moem?

It is a desktop tower that was using cable for internet then a plug in modem through cricket. The model number is 310 by Gateway
